HERAMAEL 

하라마엘님은 사타나키아님의 하관이다(/명령을 따른다). 그는 의학을 가르치며 모든 질병에 대한 지식과 치유방법을 전수한다고 한다. 식물학에 있어서 (각 식물이 가지는 약재로서의 효능과 채취방법과 장소) 전문가이다.

나는 그와 같은 모든 것을 비밀로 지켜야 한다고 생각하기에, 결코 누설하지 않겠노라. 내가 이 맹세를 깨트리지 않고 지낸다면, 그 어떤 때라도 모든 이에

의료직에 입문하면서 다음과 같이 서약한다.

-나는 인류에 봉사하는데 내 일생을 바칠 것을 엄숙히 맹세한다.

-나는 마땅히 나의 스승에게 존경과 감사를 드린다.

-나는 양심과 위엄을 가지고 의료직을 수행한다.

-나는 환자의 건강을 최우선하여 고려할 것이다.

-나는 알게 된 환자의 비밀을 환자가 사망한 이후에라도 누설하지 않는다.

-나는 나의 능력이 허락하는 모든 방법을 동원하여 의료직의 명예와 위엄 있는 전통을 지킨다. 동료는 나의 형제며, 자매다.

-나는 환자를 위해 내 의무를 다하는데 있어 나이, 질병 / 장애, 교리, 인종, 성별, 국적, 정당, 종족, 성적 성향, 사회적 지위 등에 따를 차별을 하지 않

-나는 위협을 받더라도 인간의 생명을 그 시작에서부터 최대한 존중하며, 인류를 위한 법칙에 반하여 나의 의학지식을 사용하지 않는다.

Now being admitted to the profession of medicine,

I solemnly pledge to consecrate my life to the service of humanity.

I will give respect and gratitude to my deserving teachers.

I will practice medicine with conscience and dignity.

The health and life of my patient will be my first consideration.

I will hold in confidence all that my patient confides in me.

I will maintain the honor and the noble traditions of the medical profession.

My colleagues will be as my brothers.

I will not permit considerations of race, religion, nationality, party politics, or social standing to intervene between my duty and my 

patient.

I will maintain the utmost respect for human life from the time of its conception.

Even under threat, I will not use my knowledge contrary to the laws of humanity.

These promises I make freely and upon my honor.
